Future Fibre Technologies Receives Lenel Factory Certification under Lenel’s Open Access Alliance Program

February 25, 2016
  • FFT CAMS 3 interfaces with the Lenel® OnGuard® access control security system

Future Fibre Technologies Limited (FFT) today announced that it has received Lenel factory certification and joined the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.

FFT CAMS 3 interfaces with the Lenel OnGuard access control system to seamlessly engage with the entire range of FFT fiber optic intrusion detection systems including Secure Fence, Secure Link, Secure Pipe, Secure Point and Aura.

“FFT has completed required factory testing at Lenel to validate the functionality of its interface to the OnGuard system. This certification allows end users to receive intrusion alarms, status of intrusion panels and zones, and accurate intrusion zone and location information from FFT’s intrusion detection systems. It also allows end users to use intrusion alarm information from FFT’s systems to enable activation of responses from the OnGuard security system,” said Ross McKay, director of product management, Lenel. “We look forward to their continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.”

“Working with leading security management systems is an important component of FFT’s strategy. Our facilities around the world use Lenel’s OnGuard system to interface with our electronic security systems. The FFT CAMS 3 to OnGuard interface makes it easy for these facilities to add FFT security systems, enhancing the ability to detect intruders and to respond more rapidly to security breaches,” added Fred Davis, Chief Operating Officer, FTT.
